About the Healing Stones

I want to tell you about the stones and how they work. With stones, it is all about energy. All things have vibration, even dead bodies and inanimate objects. This is because everything is made up of particles that move all the time (my particles move so fast!!!!). Anything that has vibration has an energy associated with it. So since anything that moves has vibration and anything that has vibration has an energy associated with it, then everything has energy (especially me and my sister, at least that is what Mom says).

There are different types of energy. We work with positive and negative energy. In the course of daily life, all things lose positive energy and gain negative energy. Too much of either of these situations can lead to dis-ease. That is where the stones come in. Each stone has a different property depending upon its vibration which is dependent upon its cellular makeup. Stones can either replenish lost energy or help eliminate accumulated negative energy. Also, they can protect from either a loss of or accumulation of energy in the first place. Then there are energy blockages, places in a body where energy flow is restricted for some reason. Dis-ease can develop at the points of these energy blockages and/or pain may occur there. There are some stones that specialize in helping to release energy blockages. Basically, stones can act as transducers, condensers, capacitors, oscillators and transmitters of energy. (I know about electronics, too.)

Mom says the use of stones for healing is an ancient art that is just now coming back to us. (I am ancient, too, since Mom says I am an old soul.) The book of Exodus in the Bible talks about the precious jewels in a breastplate that endow Aaron with the power of God. Sanskrit writings on astrology talk about the power of stones. References in early Greek and Roman writings talk about stones worn for health and protection. Mayan and Native American cultures used stones in diagnosing and healing diseases. In our time, so many are drawn to diamonds, emeralds, and other gemstones and it isn’t just for their beauty. We all feel good when we wear stones!

When I first came to live with Mom and Dad I had a lot of fear issues. I was afraid I would get left every time we went in the car. So Mom picked some stones for me. One of my favorite is hematite. Mom says the hematite grounds me which means that it helps me to calm myself and to relax. Hematite is real good for Aussies. I should know!!!! She also picked different kinds of agates. Agate is really helpful in building self-confidence. My most favorite is jasper, called “the supreme nurturer”. Jasper comes in all kinds of crazy colors and patterns (like Aussies do) and is a powerful protector. Sometimes I would loose a stone from my collar (it would break off or something). Mom says the stones leave my collar when I am done with them. All I know is that I feel really good when I am wearing my collar.
